By the method of subjective experiment on subjects, analyses the influences of cool stimulation by local ventilation on the thermal sensations of both the whole body and the other non stimulated body parts, when the stimulation is acted on head, chest, back, arm, hand, leg and foot, separately. Finds the multicollinearity among the thermal sensations of different body parts. Studies the influence of different body parts on the thermal sensations of the whole body by the principal component regression method. Explores the relationship between overall thermal acceptability, overall thermal comfort and local thermal acceptability in non-uniform environments. The results show that the local stimulation on the body extremities only has obvious effect on the surrounding parts, and has insignificant effect on other body parts. The local stimulation on trunk body parts has great effect on the overall thermal sensation , which induces the difference of thermal sensation among different body parts. There is good relationship between overall thermal comfort and overall thermal acceptability. When the thermal unacceptablity of local body part is within a certain range, it will not affect the overall thermal comfort.
